I am always lusting after shoes.. Possibly more than I am lusting over clothes and I always have a huge long list in my Bookmarks waiting for pay day to creep up and spend my earnings on all of my heart desired wish list! BUT I never actually get around to buying anything as I blow my money within seconds of having it mostly on takeaways and makeup!

Last nights tea, oops

So for ages now the Puma Suede's have been in shops but I have always been more of a converse girl, seeing these on girls with cute white frilly Topshop socks have converted me into a lover of these have been sitting in my Bookmarks for a while now.

When it comes to shoes I love a good old shop around Ebay as you can always find a few bargains! And trust me I have found my fair share of bargains which are happily sitting in my watch list waiting for pay day to come along!

These are all from the same seller and I want all 3 of these colours.

Simple

I have been venturing out and trying a variety of makeup removers to help clear and prevent my breakouts and help with my sensitiveness of my skin.
I heard cleansers were good to use when removing make up, and as I have always used simple moisturiser and my skin has always got on with it, I looked towards to Simple bay!

There was a 3 for 2 offer and I was on the hunt to find some new products!

Instantly I saw Simple Vital Vitamin Foaming Cleanser.
I read the back.. "For Best Results: Pump twice onto your fingertips and massage into wet skin, then rinse." This seemed easy enough to do!

Then instead of using the standard Tesco face wipes my mum buys, I opted for the Simple Exfoliating Facial Wipes as an alternative to a cleanser to use when I'm at my boyfriends and cant be bothered to drag around my suitcase worth products!

I then needed to find a 3rd product which I wanted it to be a facial wash, something I can wash my face with every morning and night, to wake me up and make my face fresh.
I didn't see the word Age Resisting until I came home, just the Facial Wash and Green Tea Goodness, I have no idea but this attracted me to the product. Green Tea just sounded so refreshing to be in a cleanser!

I also needed my roots doing before I went away on a little caravan break with my boyfriend and family so bought a cheapy box dye!

Overall review:

Foaming Cleanser -

I haven't really given this product chance to see what it's like as instead of using it a makeup remover, I have been using it once removed my makeup as just a standard cleanser.
I will definitely be using this to take my make up off as it does leave your face feeling cleansed and refreshed after using it and also has an added moisturiser within it.

Exfoliating Facial Wipes -

I have used this product as a day to day makeup wipe, where as I think it's ment to be used a few times a week due to having such a rough surface and being an exfoliating wipe.
I used them when away for 2-3 nights to remove my make up and I woke up the next morning with more breakouts due to using them every night to remove my makeup and aggravating my skin as they are so rough.

Facial Wash -

I like this product a lot as it leaves my face feeling smooth after using it, I used this after I used the Foaming Cleanser, and before I moisture and it just helps to remove all the impurities.

Nice 'N Easy Hair Dye -

I chose the shade 120c, Natural Dark Chestnut Brown.
Which has reddish/gingery tint to the colour, I often go for Nice 'N Easy as I have never had a reaction or any problems before and I feel this brand of dye is the easiest to apply.

  • You must set 11 questions for our nominees to answer.
  • You must notify all the bloggers you nominated.
 Questions from Eliza:

1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I enjoyed reading other blogs and wanted the chance to have my own and be able to write about the things I love and enjoy.

2. What is your favourite high end make up brand and why?
Benefit. Although I wouldn't call it exactly "high end" but it's more expensive then drug store cheapies. Even though Benefit can be found in drug stores (contradicting myself here). Why is Benefit my favourite? Um, because they have a product for everything, near enough all of the products are amazing and work wonders.

3. What is your most worn lip product?
Hmm Lipcote (will do a post soon). When I was younger I always saw my mum using it before she went out, I used to put it on my lips because I liked the tingle, obviously I didn't know what it was for but now I use it for it's actual purpose so after applying my lipstick I pop this on to seal in the colour, it lasts hours, trust!

4. What are 3 of your favourite beauty blogs/youtube channels?
I'll do 3 of each! Makes things more interesting :)
lydiafayejones maskcara ivory-faith
Although Ivory-Faith doesn't blog anymore I still love looking back on her posts!
xclosetoreal  sprinkleofglitter zoella

5. What is the worst make up item you have ever bought and why?
I actually dont have one that I can remember, but probably a foundation where I thought it is a medium-full coverage and has ended up looking like a tinted moisturiser!

6. What is your favourite part of you daily make up routine?
Filling in my brows! I love it, it makes such a difference to my face.

7. What was your favourite subject at school?
I didn't actually enjoy any, but if I had to pick it would be English.

8. What product are you currently lusting after?
Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation.

9. What celebrity is your make up/hair crush?
Cheryl Cole, she's just perfect!

10. What colours are you most likely to wear for eyeshadow?
I'm shit at eyeshadow, so I dont really tend to wear it but when I attempt it I go for dark colours.

11. Describe yourself in 3 words?
Outgoing, happy and passionate.

I nominate:
sarahmaysbeautyblog
ohmygoshmake-up
mintcandylilies
levisandlipsticks
jessicasjournalx
clorebecca
peachynotes
sophiesophs
jennanicholls
subtlecoral
amyslittlewonderlandclairesmakeupdrawer

My questions:
1. What's your favourite make up product?
2. How do you remove your make up?
3. What is your favourite lipstick and why?
4. What's your dream job?
5. What are you currently lusting over?
6. If you got given £1000 what would you do with it?
7. What's in your handbag?
8. Where's your favourite place to clothes shop?
9. Light coverage foundation or full coverage?
10. What's your favourite perfume?
11. How many make up brushes do you own?

Leave a comment with a link to your post once you've answered your questions, will be interested to see the answers girlies.

Today I Bought #1

Revlon Lip Butter - Strawberry Shortcake

Mac Lipstick - Rebel

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer - Ivory

Benefit Blusher - Sugarbomb
Mac Eye shadow - Brun

I am yet to do one of these posts so today is the day I have decided to do one of my rounded up purchases of the past couple of days!

I have really been struggling to find a nice eyebrow pencil which makes my eyebrows really defined and not so smudgey, instead of a pencil I opted for an eye shadow as seen on Maskcara's beauty blog, her blog is amazing! Go check her out (especially her brow school posts). Anyhow back to meeee this eye shadow goes on perfectly with my Benefit hard angled brush and really does make a difference to my eyebrows they look more natural looking and more groomed now.

I went in Benefit the other day and asked the girl working their which blush she would recommend and she recommend Benefit's sugarbomb, which is amazing! 4 shades in 1, you cant go wrong! The foursome are all shimmery in colours peach, soft plum, pink and rose. Massive thumbs up for this product!

I always see bloggers rambling on about Rimmel wake me up concealer for under the eyes especially Tanya Burr in her Youtube tutorials. Ever since I bought it I have noticed a real difference.. no more noticeable tired eyes and eye bags but now a glowy awake look around them. It's only £5.49 in Boots and honestly is a makeup essential in my makeup bag!

Being the follower I thought I'd join in and purchase one of the Revlon lip butter as once again I have also seen many people rambling on over this product. I may sound rather cheap but I think £7.99 is rather over priced for this, as amazing as it is and gives you a real glossy; shimmery, smooth, gentle coloured lip, I just think the price should be lowered, around the 5 pound mark I would say, possibly lower *embarrassed face*. There are a range of gorgeous colours and although I've just had a little moan about the price, I will be trying more colours out especially as their is a buy 1 get 2nd half price on selected products at the minute on them in Boots, so will be defiantly checking that out in a moment.

Finally, saved the best till last.. my wonderful new all time favourite Mac lipstick in the shade Rebel, O M G it's gorgeous! I have always lusted over this shade but haven't had the balls to purchase is as the shade is so deep and bold! I love my bold lips as you can tell by my first ever blog post but this is the deepest boldest colour I have ever fallen for, also another positive for this is it makes your teeth look a lot whiter, so how could you possibly not love this lippy?

Would love to know if you have tried out any of these products and what you think of them? Also what is your favourite Mac lipstick?

Makeup Remover?

Calling all girls! I need advice and fast!

I am suffering badly from breakouts at the past two weeks and taking my makeup of every day with wipes isn't helping! I am very lazy as this is why I use them, so I dont need a lecture on face wipes being bad because I KNOW!

I would say my skin is a combination of normal, dry and oily, although it is extremely sensitive and this can be seen once my make up has been removed and I am left with a red patchy face, blackheads and pimples. I am in need of a good amazing make up remover wether gel, wash or what not, I need recommendations and advice. I need to find the best one which will help get rid and prevent breakouts and get rid of the red skin!
